An Easter post in May? Kind of shameful, I know. Right now I'm actually on vacation in South Padre Island, which is code for I-finally-have-unrestricted-time-to-sit-down-and-blog. Like there's nothing around the house that has to be cleaned, no orders that need to be sewn, no DVRed show that has to be watched. So after a six week delay, here (finally!) are some of our pictures from our fun trip that we took to Dallas to celebrate Easter with Mark's side of the family. Brian and Cristi were such wonderful hosts! We got to stay in their new house, and man, do they know how to make people feel welcomed! Cristi certainly has keyed in on the sweet tooth residing in each of our mouths. There were treats galore perched in every nook and cranny. Not to mention the wonderful home cooked and restaurant meals we enjoyed. I definitely came home with an extra pound or two! And plenty of good memories of our time together with the Asmussens.
