Uncle Kirk's Ranch

A few weekends ago my Uncle Kirk and Aunt Cathy invited us to ride out to the ranch that they have partial stakes in to see all the animals and scenery. It's about an hour and half north of The Woodlands, so the drive took a little bit, but it was well worth it. We had so much fun just getting out of the big city and having some time together to reconnect as a family and see God's beauty in nature. We spent a few hours fishing, checking out the animals, touring the ranch, and exploring the huge Jesuit camp that they're building on the ranch. Afterwards we went to the best little steakhouse in Leona, Texas and enjoyed massive ribeyes and yummy potatoes. Nothing like a day out in the country! Much thanks to Uncle Kirk and Aunt Cathy for such a fun day!

Sweet Reagan

The little guy! His eyes are so blue in natural lighting.

Exploring.

Curious little fella!

Kolbe working hard to reel in his big catch

Everybody watching Uncle Kirk bring in a catfish

Dada working hard to get him un-hooked

Yay!

The horses came running when they found out we had food!

Feeding grass through the fence.

Rudy looks so concerned!

Nothing beats a good Texas sunset.
