Easter Weekend 2011

We had a fantastic Easter weekend here in The Woodlands filled with all the traditional fun and then some. It was wonderful to see the boys actually start to understand the meaning of Easter this year, though we were just happy to make it through mass considering how packed it was. Mark was on-call all weekend which was a bummer, but luckily he got to spend most of Saturday with us. We also got to spend time with The Raines Family (my mom's sister's family) which the boys just loved. Not to mention the fun trip down into Houston that the boys and  I took on Friday to meet up with my cousin Mandi who was in town visiting her in-laws. Here's shots of everything!

Checking out the splash pad

Not quite sure how that's comfortable...

Loving the water!

Group shot! I think everyone is actually looking at the camera!

The boys loved coloring Easter eggs...and Rudy loved eating them too!

Dada made it home from being on call in time to help.

Two brothers showing off their Easter bunny shirts that G-ma sent to them.

The finished products!

Hanging out at the Raines' house after mass..."aunt" Kristen is always in for an exercise session when the boys are around!

They have a blast flying on her feet! Woman has legs of steel!

Looks like he's up to no good, right?

Looks what we found inside! Little sweet tooth!

By the time we made it home, somebody was SPENT!

But after nap time he was ready to look for Easter eggs in the backyard with Pa and Molly.

Kolbe had to get a head start...getting his basket first might have made him miss these guys!

Checking out all the loot afterward. Those baskets had to disappear to the top of the fridge pretty quickly! But no harm in a little sugary fun every now and then!

See! Puts a smile on their faces!

Happy Easter, everyone! Hope your day was blessed!
