Leaving Lubbock: Part 3 - The Little House on 72nd Street

Today officially marks one month since we drove away from our little house on 72nd Street. In some ways it feels like a lifetime ago...so much has happened in just one month!...and in others, it still feels like yesterday. The exciting news is that we've found a house here in The Woodlands and are under contract to close on it on May 19th. We can't wait to be in our new home! (pictures to come soon)

But our little house on 72nd Street will always hold a special place in our hearts. Out on the street in front of it is where I agreed to be Mark's bride one warm May afternoon in 2006. Within it's walls a couple became a family...the place our two precious boys came home to. It's where our journey as parents began. Where so many memories took place. We will miss it dearly!

The Sunday morning before we left, my brother and sister-in-law, Andy and Abby, came over before mass to snap a few pictures of us out front. Our final memories of The Asmussens, proud owners of 4825 72nd Street.
